Cuddy: We told the record company we were just going to do a sideline record. Maybe audiences were in the same mood as us at the time. So we had to figure out, well, what are we going to do? Where Tremolo had been a little anemic — not lyrically anemic, but instrumentally anemic — I think we were trying to be a little more forceful on that. Cuddy: Are You Ready was definitely reflective of Greg losing his dad, and the long process of his dad passing.
